Extended Warranty Plan
We offer an extended warranty plan for select items we sell. Designed to ensure you get the best possible performance from your Laptops For Less purchases, the extended warranty is in addition to the standard factory warranty. You can purchase this plan online or over the phone at the time of purchase, and at any other time within the product's return period. You may not add an extended warranty after the products return period.
This extended warranty plan includes prompt, professional product service and replacement coverage. Coverage begins the day of your purchase, and includes:
- Protection from dust, heat and humidity
- Failures due to normal wear and tear/usage
- Failures due to power surges
- Full parts
- No-lemon guarantee
To file a claim: Contact Laptops For Less customer service. Once provided details you will need to ship your covered product, at your expense, along with your original receipt to the designated address. We will promptly test your unit and confirm the item is defective. If defective we will replace the item and ship back at our cost.
Laptops For Less has sole discretion. If Laptops For Less deems the product defect was caused by forces outside of the warranty it is not responsible for replacement. You must contact Laptops For Less within the designated time frame. Warranties claimed after expiration date cannot be honored.

Lamp Extended Warranty Plan
We offer an extended warranty plan for our TV and projector lamps. Designed to ensure you get the best possible performance from your Laptops For Less purchase, the extended warranty is in addition to the standard factory 6 month warranty. We give you the flexibility of choosing an additional 6, 12 or 24 months on top of your 6 month factory warranty. You can purchase the extended warranty online when you purchase your product by simply selecting the level of coverage that you want. Alternatively, you may purchase your warranty over the phone at the time of purchase and at any other time within the product's return period. You may not add an extended warranty after the products return period.
This extended warranty plan includes prompt, professional product service and replacement coverage. Coverage begins the day of your purchase. If your lamp fails for any of the following reasons during your factory or extended warranty period, we will send you a new replacement lamp:
- Manufacturer’s defects – i.e. a "no lemon" guarantee
- Bulb "popping" or bursting
- Bulb burning out before normal usage hours expires (usually about 6,000 hours for a TV lamp and 2,000 for a front projector lamp – check specific lamp for details)
- Failures due to power surges
- Warranty covers bulb, wiring and plastic housing
To file a claim: Contact Laptops For Less customer service via phone or email. Provide us with your order number so we can look up your account and verify your warranty period. Once it is determined that your product is in warranty, you will need to ship your product, at your expense, along with your original receipt to our warehouse. We will promptly test your unit and confirm the item is defective. If defective we will replace the item and ship back at our cost.
