Most PDA batteries are sealed inside the PDA, so you typically can't recharge it with external PDA battery charger. We don't recommend using more than one battery with your PDA because of the inconvenience of changing out spare batteries.

If your PDA battery is removable, for example it requires AAA batteries, you can buy a small battery charger at any electronics store. Some PDAs are not as effective with rechargeable batteries as they are with traditional alkaline batteries, so you should test one set of rechargeable batteries before buying an additional set or a charger.

For PDA models that have removable lithium ion batteries or battery plates that clip into the back of the case, you may be able to buy an external PDA battery charger from the manufacturer or an electronics store. In this case, you could also buy a spare PDA battery to ensure that your PDA is never without power.

As devices become more power-hungry, they are packaged with more powerful batteries. A typical PDA battery should last for several hours of continuous use. They can also be recharged before they are fully discharged, so you never need to allow your PDA to go dead before recharging it.
