These instruction require a moderate level of technical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, as well as a general understanding of electronic components. Buyer assumes full responsibility for the installation of this replacement battery.

 

 Step 1:

Using the included philips head screwdriver, remove the four screws from the case.

 

 Step 2:

Using the screwdriver or your finger, gently pry the case open starting at the top.

 

 Step 3:

Disconnect the battery connector by gently pulling the black and red ribbon cable towards the battery.

 

 Step 4:

Using the screwdriver or your finger, gently lift the battery from its casing. Apply the new battery within the case. Please pay attention to have the original orientation (connector towards the right of the Jornada).

Connect the battery connector by positioning it within the socket and pushing towards the socket.

Snap on the cover and put back the four screws.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
