When HP released the F1705A battery they made 2 different types of doors so that the same battery would fit a variety of different laptops. The following instructions will help you to identify which door you need and how to change them.
Door Type 1 is very easy to remove. Simply pry it off with your fingers and it should easily separate from the battery.
		Door Type 2 is a little more difficult. Removing this door requires a flathead screwdriver. Carefully use the flathead screwdriver to pry the door from the battery.
		Once you have your old door removed, simply snap on the new door. Be sure to have the correct orientation, with the door sticking out to the right.
